Has it really been more than a decade since you’ve offered a robotic lawn mower?

Apparently it’s just 4 days as of today, with 2 days remaining to buy…!

Is the wireless charging dock included?

Wtf Woot! I fire this thing up and it says it’s not from an authorized seller and app functionality is crippled

Wow… I can understand your frustration, but that is some scum-baggy, messed up app BS from Aiper… I can’t imagine the implications here.

What if someone decides to sell later on Offer Up, FB Marketplace, fleaBay.. Whatever… Aiper’s app is gonna pull this crap?

I have an email thread going with Aiper support to see what can be done. They requested order details (to prove where I purchased it I guess).

I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it since it has a Li-ion battery it sounds like it will a pain.

Ill update this thread if Aiper support unlocks it for me.

I received the same issues as others saying the cleaner was bought from an unauthorized reseller. I called up AIPER and the issue is that these are STOLEN units and they will not support any warranty and you will not be able to update the software. Woot …what are you going to do about this. You shouldn’t be selling stolen items.

yeah, just re-read the email I received and while they may unlock it. There is no warranty. It would be nice if someone from Woot could reply here to let us know what our options are.

Hello guys. I don’t have any information at the moment. Our team is researching it with the vendor.

More info on Aiper website

This is a very bad look for woot! - AN AMAZON COMPANY.

While Aiper may unlock these units, I would not pay $500 for something that could break tomorrow and have no recourse. Even the credit card company would likely balk covering a STOLEN product.

All eyes on Woot! Make it right….

Wow! I pulled the trigger on this over an Aiper S1 at $569 and was looking forward to getting it tomorrow… I just got an email that looks like I’ve been refunded. Sounds like Woot is indeed trying to make things right with integrity, but wow what a piece of drama! (and to the post up top… I am still rocking my almost-21-year-old Woot Robomower!! Can’t wait to buy it a drink soon)

yep, just checked and my refund has already gone through.

Are folks keeping or trashing? Is it even usable with it the wifi? Aiper should be honoring the price and sending us all new robots with full warranties. We did nothing wrong and all had the best of intentions. Woot is not some black market dark-web website.

I’ll end up tossing but if Aiper wants to provide a new robot at the same price I paid, it’s something I would consider. Anyone else?

Any luck with Aiper? 5% off $999 does not get me excited. Plus the fact they can remotely disable is kinda crazy… we bought these from a reputable seller with proof via paid receipts. I get they were “stolen” but we acted in good faith… idk kinda nuts. Feel like Aiper sound be doing a bit more here…

So is yalls unit not functioning at all without the app or is it just limited to using the buttons ? Really dissapointed with this purchase, was very excited about this x1

Mine works fine using just the buttons. Unable to update the firmware or app control…but it works great without that functionality. I was told they would unlock but would not warranty it which I think is fair. Hopefully they don’t remotely brick, that would ensure I never buy one of their products again.

Yea thats where im at… if i can usebit manually im not ecstatic but it gets the job done. I dont wanna give them the serial number cause then they can lock it lol
