Airthings Corentium Home Radon Detector

11.78! Get out now!!!

I have the older model, and bought it after two of the mail in tests came in at 4 and 8 for the basement.

This monitor confirmed those results as it was pegging at 7 when I got it, so I called in a mitigation installer.

They did their thing, and we put this meter right next to their professional calibrated unit to confirm the reading on this thing. The professional unit came in at like 0.76, while this was reading 0.74. Close enough for me and the installer was shocked themselves.

Anywho, get it!

I bought one of these in March of 2017 from the mothership when my son moved home and took over my basement. I am glad I did as our Radon was through the roof (see photo). We got it professionally mitigated and used it to monitor. I work in an office of about 45. I took it into to work where it was passed about the office. Three coworkers had levels that required mitigation. You don’t know until you know. I gave that meter to
my younger son to monitor his basement. We now have an AirThings 2930 Wave Plus that monitors Radon plus several other air quality items.

Does this detect dog gas? I almost suffocated last night.

This item says that the warranty is void if it is sold at any retailer besides Home Depot. See the small print on the back. I’m returning it.

Yeah, I’m just now finding this out the hard way. Didn’t see that when it arrived, woot’s page says it offers a 1 year warranty. Now my device is in error, wont do crap and they won’t honor their 1 year warranty for a device that was delivered to me 7 months ago…

@ThunderThighs, unfortunately thus far, that hasn’t been helpful either… I just want to continue to know my home is safe from Radon without having to purchase another Radon detector so soon…

Locating the “Authorized sellers” is challenging as airthings warranty page does not list anything. That said Amazon seems to be listed, but not woot… I know Amazon owns Woot… Ugh. Any chance you can help with this?

Let me check in with customer service.

I truly appreciate your assistance!

I am curious about this as well, as I just purchased one from Amazon about a month ago.
