Do you have these? How is the quality of sound? What was wrong with shokz? I’m debating getting shokz or the ones that don’t bother the ear and don’t stick inside.

With Aftershoks (now Shokz) there’s two sizes, mini and normal. I have to use mini so the rear tension band doesn’t catch my collars or move the bud in front of the ear. I’ve never had a comfort problem with my multiple sets of aftershokz, and at this price point it’s a GREAT chance to see if bone conduction is right for you. Sound quality doesn’t match over-ear or even in-ear phones, but voice conversations and music is perfectly audible and enjoyable. Just don’t expect much bass if you like genres that are heavy with it. Background noise comes right through, so it’s great for safety, and if you want to hear the sound better they work fine with foam ear protection!
If you typically wear glasses, a hat, AND these, you’ll probably have to find a happy medium or which item to put on first. The thicker the ‘arm’ of your glasses, the more they’ll compete with each other for the narrow space between your ear and head. (sunglasses sometimes have to be re adjusted)

I wouldn’t hesitate at this price, I love bone conduction when I’m on the go and rarely need to use foam earplugs unless I’m in a very noisy location.

After trying these and the Shokz OpenMove, these are about 90% as good as the Shokz. Similar sound and build quality…hard to justify $55 for the Shokz after trying these.
