Wow, haven’t been on woot in a while. According to them, my last comment was 2012! A lot has happened since then (at both Woot and us) I was at Neuros at the time. Any woot customers still around from back then?

In any case, if you all aren’t familiar the Exos-9 is a pretty special, big, high quality speaker. The original intention was to be a “home stereo replacement” but many folks are using it as a big, very nice boombox. It’s a very nice speaker, there are a lot of reviews out there. This is an aggressive price to test out the new woot and close out a small overstock.

I got one for Christmas, or else I would have bought one today!

This is a great 9 hour battery powered bluetooth speaker - but get a pair as you can bluetooth pair then R/L or (R/L , R/L). This gives better stereo abience to fill a room and expands the sound field

The bass is fantastic for such a small speaker and is on par with the DR Beatbox - This fella here …" Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox - CNET " - if you can find these beatboxes used and get a $20 Bluetooth adapter off Amazon they are amazing sounding . The EXOS has a more fuller sound and has a built in equalizer and battery. The beatbox also sounds great but lacks the battery and built in Bluetooth.
I like both speakers but the Beatboxes are my daily go to speakers as they can withstand a lot of abuse and still sound good and they take up less space than the EXOS.
