I bought this eleven months ago and it still stinks. I scrubbed it a couple of times and it helped. I turned it off for the summer. When I tried it again this year, it smelled bad. I wouldn’t recommend buying these things…

I’ve had mine for a couple of years no, no issues. I left it on in the garage for 24 hours before installing it in my daughter’s bedroom to eliminate any odors. Works great!

i see a variety of these, I presume in different sizes and wattages? If I wanted to heat a detached garage, would I be better off getting a few of the cheapest and daisy chain them?
