8 pictures. All of the lovely block. I wonder what the knives look like.
Apparently Amazon thought you only needed to see the one knife.
Actually 2 knives (8" chef’s & 7" santoku) and a peek at a 3rd in an inset (either 3.5" paring or 5" utility).
Other corrections and omissions:
- The steel rod does not sharpen knives, it straightens small burrs to realign the edges of knives. (Unless it is either a ceramic steel or a steel with a diamond coating.)
- What material is used to make the triple riveted ergonomic handles?
- The bolsters indicate the knives are forged instead of stamped, but this is not stated.
- In Specifications it states blade edges: serrated, but only the Bread knife has a serrated edge.
- Where are these knives made? China?
Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Premium-9-Piece-Kitchen-Knife/dp/B00R3Z46JQ
They don’t go into that level of detail. Made in China though.
Thanks. I edited my comment to note the Specifications say the blade edges are serrated when only the bread knife has a serrated edge. Also, anyone who follows the link to the Amazon page should note the incredibly cheap price for the 14-piece set is because the knives are stamped instead of forged. I wish Anazon would not lump together totally different products. There is no way a review of the stamped set should apply to the forged set, yet Amazon has 23,425 reviews comingled for the 3 sets. (I know you don’t have any control over that.)
