Amazon Fire TV 2-Series HD Smart TV

Amazon Fire TV 2-Series HD Smart TV

“HD 720p” isn’t, really. I’m replacing a doorbell camera because at 720p I can’t SEE the details I want/need - IMHO, unless you’re sitting way across the room, 720 is aggravating. I had this in my cart, then saw the pixel spec at the last moment & let it go… YOUR mileage may vary.

The 32 inch is 720, but the 40 inch is 1080 full hd.

I was tempted until I read the reviews. Seems like many of these are really slow especially when navigating through apps, buffers when watching sports or other fast paced scenes such as action movies. And that was for new items. I don’t have much hope refurbs will be better.

What is the difference between Amazon Refurbished and Amazon Refurbished 1,2,3 or 4?

They’re the same. The inventory is in multiple SKUs and the Woot system doesn’t combine them.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

I will never use built in “smart” features. Get a chromecast, fire stick, roku, or apple tv. Then when it gets slow just replace it with the new model rather than having to get a whole new tv. Also when you get a new tv then you can use the stream box with the new tv as well.

:+1:$48 (with xtra 20% off) for a refurb 32” tv. That’s the price of 2 pizzas delivered. That’s “better than garage sale prices”- which should totally be a new woot price descriptor. can finally afford a bathroom tv- glue some hooks on it & hanging it from the towel bar or shower curtain rod
