Amazon Fire TV 4-Series 4K TV

Hello. CS will respond to you as soon as they can. I’ve also asked our team about this since there were two cases so far. They are asking the Amazon teams.

This is quite possibly the worst purchase I’ve ever made.

I received a $66 partial refund for the missing legs and power cord.

A few days later I received legs and power cord I purchased from Amazon. Spent twenty minutes assembling the stand and then plugged in the TV to find that the provided remote control works to turn the TV on however it is stuck in the “searching for your remote” stage and will not pair with the remote. The remote works for selecting the language and can navigate up and down to select a language, but evidently is not compatible to actually pair with the TV.

In addition, there are 4-5 spots on the TV where it looks like the screen is distorted and warped, making the picture (of the setup screen) distorted.

Now I’m wondering if I should request a full refund and be at a loss for the purchased stand and plug, or if I should try to spend even more money for a new remote that will hopefully actually work and just ignore the screen damage. I’m not even sure the extent of the screen damage because it’s stuck on the gray remote pairing screen,but in the photo the left side is obviously dimpled.

So maybe I’ll try connecting to it with a computer via an Ethernet cable. This is a lot of bull crap to deal with a supposedly factory refurbished device that is guaranteed by Amazon to work. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
