This is a great option if you’re on a budget and want upgraded sound. It currently sells new on Amazon for $300.

Does this sound bar have restrictions? I somehow thought it’d only work for Amazon apps. Like not a general speaker

For additional surround speakers, consider Fire TV Soundbar Plus with subwoofer and surround speakers. Surround speakers are not sold separately.

This is an audio-only soundbar. It is not Alexa-enabled and does not support Alexa Home Theater. A Fire TV streaming media player or smart TV is required to access the Fire TV experience.

To control both your TV and your Fire TV Soundbar Plus’s volume and power, you must use a TV remote (not included). Only select Fire TV streaming media players and Fire TV smart TVs allow you to change your audio settings within the Fire TV menu.

For best results, including playback in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound, connect the Fire TV Soundbar Plus to the HDMI ARC or eARC port on your TV. Learn more about setup here.

This can be used on any TV with an eArc HDMI. You can use the Bluetooth feature to stream music from your phone. I have the basic Amazon Fire TV Soundbar hooked up to a Pioneer Smart TV. The one I have was purchased awhile ago. It has no Subwoofer but does have Fire TV built in. I have a few Fire TV sticks and had this been available then I definitely would have gone for this option. Especially at the price. $180 off brand new is a great deal. And it is open box, not refurbished, so it is basically also brand new. I hope this information helps you. Have a great Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone else was luckier than I was! Mine came in and the sound bar is missing from the box! Only a subwoofer. Seems to be reoccurring problem with things I order from Amazon resale…

Oh jeez. I’m sorry. Make sure you reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
