I took that into account, but hey download app set time and temp and your done. Not a deal breaker for me. Maybe no controls on it to help with it messing up and just use the app? IDK but will be fun to try it
I saw the Walmart offering on Slickdeals, and was this close to jumping on it. Until I did a little research.
What the reviews there seem to indicate, is not only that it’s solely app controlled, but you need a paid membership/fee to make it work past the trial period.
Hard pass for me, on GP alone.
From what I understand the subscription is for some things like a recipe library and cooking notifications. For me that’s not a deal breaker as long as I can use the product. Recipes are free everywhere online and I planned on setting a timer anyways. Looks like I can control it for free via bluetooth within the app. Just a heads up!

Was about to return because it would not connect with the app. Had to uninstall app, then try again, and then it worked. FYI
