Apple 9.7" iPad (6th Gen) Wi-Fi Tablets

Apple 9.7" iPad (6th Gen) Wi-Fi Tablets

Finally somewhat more rational refurb Woot prices on the 6th gen iPad.

iPad 6th gen: used refurb Woot with 90-day warranty
32 GB $200
128 GB $240

For reference, New latest 8th gen iPad, with 1-year warranty MSRP / Street price (common sale price, like at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart)
32 GB $329 / 299 (currently $280 at Microcenter in store)
128 GB $429 / 395 (currently $380 at Microcenter in store)

We have two 6th gen iPads and they still perform fine. Great all around devices. 32GB is workable on an iPad, if you have “optimize photos” turned on. We can still download several movies plus a couple full seasons of a series. But the $40 Woot bump ($100 bump at new prices) to go to 128GB is probably a smart move unless all you do on your iPad is email, internet browsing and streaming.

Note iPadOS 15 is coming out in a month or so. iPadOS 15 will be available for the iPad 6 (but only on one generation back as well, the iPad 5… the iPad 4 stops getting iOS upgrades)

Great info, thanks! The sixth generation is also the first that supports the Apple Pencil. I’m pretty happy with mine (bought almost three years ago at Costco for $250).

iPadOS nowadays supports external storage via not only cloud services but also memory cards and USB sticks, so it’s not as important if you outgrow your iPad’s storage capacity.

Is this the first iPad Pro? Thanks in advance.

This is not a Pro.
