I remember when a refurb apple watch was around 200 bucks.
Does this one have the blood oxygen sensor from before January 2024? I ask because there was a brief moment for 3 months that Apple sold it with the said sensor in USA.
Absolute gamble with a low percent I’d think
This is a good deal, I bought a Gen1 refurbished Ultra from woot just over a year ago for $20 more. No issues, came pristine and battery lasts me 2 days if it doesn’t get charged
Likely not since it’s Apple Refurbished, they probably disabled it.
My understanding is a gen2 is the same around the world. The issue is that in the US the watchOS had to disable the sensor. If you updated the os outside the us you could retain the sensor function. It was a us ip lawsuit loss. In Canada the sensor would work. I have a gen2 and the sensor works.
I just took my measurement and it worked fine.
Each watch has a different part number, those imported into the US will have LW rather than LL at the end of said number. This doesn’t change by crossing border lines
If this has Cellular do I have to pay for a cellular account?
Got this. Arrived today. Brand new. Crisp box. Just had a sticker on box which said apple refurbished. Opened up to a brand new watch with brand new charger and 100% battery health and just 10 days less than 1 year apple warranty. Super happy i took the plunge. And no SPO2 so these are newer ones
Yes, if you want to use the internet and functions that require mobile wireless connectivity without having your phone nearby.
Which they still are. This is the AW Ultra.
