What version of iPadOS is loaded on these? I know that they can run 18, but that requires darned near all of the 32G
These were released in the iPadOS 14/15 era. Isn’t iPadOS 17 still being supported by Apple (if you don’t want to upgrade to 18)
I am not sure if you can downgrade a iPadOS once a newer one has been installed. The price on these is attractive for a casual use device…
Just saw some 8th Gen 128G devices on Swappa for under $200, so I think this one will be a pass for me.
If anyone is still considering this deal, don’t. They’re actually shipping iPad 7s. The first time they told me the vendor was out of them so they can’t ship a replacement. But you can return it and order again. Just received that second order. Also an iPad 7. This was a good deal for an 8. Not for a 7.

They just did the same thing to me. I don’t want a 7 but they won’t cancel because its after 2hrs (however I wasn’t told they would be shipping a 7 until the next day), instead I have to wait, get sent a return label and then return it for a refund.
IMHO even a 64Gb iPad was stretching it for iPadOS 17. I wouldn’t be happy with a 32Gb model unless I had very few third party apps on it. I.e. just use it for Facetime, Messages, Notes, Photos, and the camera as a Continuity Camera with an Apple TV. YMMV.
And if the vendor is sending the wrong model, screw it.
