Almost grabbed it for one of the kiddos. A quick search found the newest version (A17) with 128GB, but no cellular, at the same price at the yellow tag big box store. So if cellular isn’t going to be used anyway…
My 64 GB iPad mini has started running a little short on memory, I was tempted by this too for the cellular but I prefer a 128 GB.
Unfortunately, the latest iPad mini doesn’t support my pencil 2. 
Woot really messed up the pricing on this one. For $349 you can get the iPad mini 7 with 128GB.
Yes although it is worth pointing out the newer model doesn’t support the old stylus. Might not be a big deal but if you were planning on using the old one and can’t you should add that to the cost. Because the you have to buy the newer expensive version of the stylus to work on this.
So that could be consequential depending on the circumstances. That was my biggest disappointment when the newer one came out since I would rather get an extra 3 years of support. But I do not feel like going out and buying a new Apple pencil pro or whatever for $100.
