Same here. $20, not 20%.
Same here . I just read the fine print and it says 20 percent off with a max discount of 20 bucks haha
I love Woot, but this is poorly played. Why would you have an iPhone section with “20% off” at the top of the sale page, just to disappoint people at checkout with “20 max”?
Not cool, man.
It’s in the details via the link:
I just bought one of these do they come with a charging cable or will I need to buy one separately?
Has anyone received this item? Does the phone work well?
@ThunderThighs I’m curious as to what “Pristine” means and how that differs from “New” listings for these iPhones.
And is there any difference between “Pristine” phones and Apple retail phones other than the fact that there is no original packaging? I am concerned that if we do not know who the vendor is, how do we know that they are not actually selling refurbished phones?
As per the listing, these come with test stickers and a different box (other than the original retail box, so these wouldn’t be “new”.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
Thank you for the response. I was referring to these listings that are indeed labeled as “New” but also have those same test stickers and black box. For example: Apple iPhone 15 - Unlocked (New - Black Box)
Hello. There’s no difference. Calling it new caused confusion with customers so we switched it to Pristine. It’s all the same inventory.
Is there a separate return policy for these phones or does it fall under Woot’s standard return policy?
Standard policy.
Does this work with tmobile? Also, what is the return policy?
Thanks!
Hello. It’s unlocked so it should.
It’s frustrating not having received these yet. I ordered two and tracked them through UPS, which says delivery is today (12/7/24), but nothing has arrived. The tracking shows “on the way Miami,” and it hasn’t updated or moved. Both phones shipped together, which makes this even more concerning. I’m staying hopeful, but with the package coming from Miami, I’m not holding my breath—there’s a reputation for scams and tricks with carriers there.
If anyone else ordered this same item, did you actually receive it? I’ll post an update if mine arrives, but something feels off. Tread carefully!
There is no charge in box, is this phone new or refurbished?
This is for everyone who has posted very appropriate questions about this phone deal.
I was unsure about dropping $700 on this phone, but I took a chance and ordered one.
I’m a really picky person, and I have zero complaints. The deal is exactly as described. These were probably left over phones that sat in a warehouse, and the company selling them bought them from Apple and is reselling them after just checking them. They can’t sell them in the Apple retail packaging and there’s no Apple warranty or support. But the phone is in fact totally pristine, obviously never used, and perfect condition.
I had only one issue - you have to update it to the latest phone iOS, before you can put it on your wireless account (Verizon). It’s totally unlocked and has no physical sim; its all eSIM now, and works with any of the major wireless companies. After I updated the iOS, it was very simple to replace my older iPhone with this one on my Verizon account page.
Can I buy monthly Apple care for this?
