The description says the device is unlocked so it should be able to be used with any carrier. As for use in India, I believe it would work just fine. The model for sale here on Woot looks to be Model A2846 (US) vs Model A3090 (Europe & Asia). The US model supports all the cellular bands for the 3090 model, plus more bands used in the US. I plan on buying this Woot deal and using it in Europe and I feel confident purchasing it.
