Apparently even Apple choked on its obscene, even for Apple pricing of this fine European leather sleeve. And dropped it.
I’m sure it’s wonderful. But $145 wonderful? Even $63 wonderful?
I’ll admit I’d love one for my MacBook Air, but there are so many other things on which I’d rather spend $63.
Is everything Apples sells way over priced? (rhetorical question)
Non-rhetorical answer - no.
I thought about one of these, then found a place called crazyhorse leather. Their prices seem justified, but these? Two flaps slapped together? Nah
It’s outrageous. I enjoy my Macbook Air but I’ve got a $30 zippered cloth sleeve I got from the mothership that also has two zippered side pockets for the absolutely necessary dongles when one only has two USB-C ports. I guarantee my “cheap” sleeve will protect the laptop just as well as this crap, if not better due to the zippered top, and no bovines were harmed in its manufacture, at least that I’m aware of.
List price $144.99?!?!
Another reason I don’t own any apple products.
I love how everyone takes the time to let everyone else know that they think Apple products are too expensive and not worth it.
… Fails to look in the mirror for taking the time to comment about commenters. But thanks for letting us know how you feel.
Expensive, yes. But the computers themselves are absolutely worth it, especially the new Apple Silicon Macs. Performance per dollar and performance per watt are both well beyond anything else out there. My M1 MBA runs circles around my Ryzen 5 3600 workstation for most tasks, and does so fanless. It’s mind blowing.
But accessories? Nah, I’m good with cheap and functional over fashion.
Non-rhetorical answer - no.
You must be talking about the products made for Apple that aren’t made by Apple. Everything I have seen is ridiculously overpriced.
