This is now a certified steal. The Ink color is nearly black, but with a little purple hue to it. Kind of like “Batman black.” Will complement either Midnight or Blue Apple Watches.
The leather is relatively robust, though you ought to “rest” it after a day’s wear (same as good leather shoes). Wipe periodically with a clean, damp cloth to clean. The magnets hold very well as they run the entire length of the band. There’s no outward magnetism from the longer half, only slight from the exposed part of the shorter band. Since each half attaches to either side of the Apple Watch, you can reverse it.
I’ve found the color to resist fading on the black and blue straps. The underside may develop a little patina, but regular cleaning and “rest” will keep the strap usable for years. This is a durable strap, not as dainty as the Modern Buckle strap, but not intended for rough use IMHO. Use a Sport Loop for outdoor work, gardening, or exercise.
