Apple Watch Braided Solo Loop - Red, Orange, Yellow Hues

Sorry if this is a stupid question and I’m sure it’s right in front of me, but the buying options have product red 1, product red 2 and product red 3. I don’t see a picture for product red 3 and which color would be product red 1 or product red 2?

They’re the same. The inventory is in multiple SKUs and the Woot system doesn’t combine them.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. I really appreciate it.

Note this is a brighter red and not a darker brick red/Snoopy’s dog house red that I believe was the first gen color.

The Product Red bands might be different colors…

I bought a Product Red band off Woot a while ago and just got another one in this sale. I picked #2 this time, and luckily it is a true red and darker than my first band.

My first one says Product Red on the metal part of the band and the new one doesn’t. Here’s a photo of the two of them. I didn’t wear the first one much so the brighter color is not because of fading/bleaching.

Top one: New 44 mm, doesn’t say Product Red though that’s what I had bought.
Older one: 45 mm (no idea why it’s labeled differently, it’s the same size as the other one), says Product Red on the metal slide.

They adjust colors every year, and so the model it’s made for may change (41mm, 42mm, etc.). I have two Size 9s and they are slightly different lengths possibly because they’re made for different models.

I bet all four of the Product Red SKUs are actually different colors from different seasons. I wonder how we could confirm without me having to purchase all of them and then returning?

Since all three products—Product(Red), Product(Red)-1, and Product(Red)-2—had only one photo of red online, I contacted customer service to ask which one is the darkest. Their AI-powered response was:

Hi there, Thank you for writing to us. Please go through the description of the item for more information. Should there be any further concerns please get in touch with us and we will be glad to assist you. Best regards, Syed O.

Not exactly helpful.

My experience buying some Braided Solo Loops straps here is that they came from different years’ production lines. E.g. one was “for the 40mm Apple Watch,” another was “for the 41mm Apple Watch.” … I speculate that the different SKUs related to different years versions.

Though technically you’d think Product(RED) Solo Loops were always the same shade of red, there might’ve been variations. I don’t expect Woot CS to know. Perhaps some ultra dedicated Apple fanboys online will know.
