Apple Watch Series 8 Smart Watch [GPS + Cellular] - (Apple Certified Refurbished)

@ThunderThighs apparently the rep went to level 2 to confirm that my watch was not able to reset to the purchase date. Not sure if calling back in will work.

They asked for an order email with the serial number included, so more official than me writing the serial number on the printout of the receipt.

I don’t want to return it as I need the watch, and I suspect the replacement will have the same issue.

I can try to call back in, but any chance I can get the invoice? When I tried calling Woot customer service they said they cannot.

Unfortunately you can’t get an official invoice from Woot with the serial number on it.

Yeah, what @Froodyfrog said. We don’t have invoices, just your order details and we don’t record serial numbers.

Called Apple Support twice to up coverage date but not successful to date, coverage expires in Oct 2024 which is incorrect.

1st time - they needed invoice with serial number so I provided it to them.

2nd time - had to call them again just to get case update. Specialist said they are not able to update the coverage date as refurbished item is not purchased directly from Apple. Has anyone successfully updated the coverage date for this purchase yet?

I am hoping not to have to use the coverage at all (like my previous Apple devices). It is just annoying that Apple is making it so difficult to get it updated.

Also, just be aware that the mobile service for the Apple Watch may not work in your region. I received a UK model which doesn’t work in my region.

It should have been a US version. Make sure you reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
