Apple Watch Ultra 2nd Gen (Grade A Refurbished)

Apple Watch Ultra 2nd Gen (Grade A Refurbished)

I just got mine and set it up. One tiny scratch on the bottom. It had a few problems but now it seems fine. Battery life is at 96%. What’s everyone else’s battery?

I purchased one pre-Christmas. The crystal was spotless but there are multiple light scratches on the top bezel. Battery 91%. I’m not sure I would buy again.

Initial Woot purchase: Ultra (original) & a stainless Series 7 for my kid.

  • Ultra: bezel scratches deep enough to feel & 85% battery capacity.
  • Series 7 great condition but 75% battery capacity
  • Both Returned

2nd Woot Purchase Ultra II

  • Light Bezel scratches
  • Clean crystal
  • 91% Battery Capacity
  • Was going to return it until -

I ordered an “As New/Opened” Ultra II from the mother ship. The packaging and accessories were all Ultra II, but the watch had some light scuffs. After a charge and setup, the battery life was reported at 84% - definitely not as new. Returned.

Interestingly, during the reset process on the “as new” watch, I discovered it wasn’t even an Ultra II! Some slimy weasel ordered an Ultra II, took the new watch and returned their lightly scuffed but battery deficient Ultra I! Lesson learned - check “Setting > About” of anything you buy that’s open box or certified/refurbished to confirm it’s actually what you ordered.

At that point I was sick of the games and decided to keep the Ultra II with light bezel scratches. It was only a matter of time until it looked like that anyway. I also ended up buying a new SE for my kid.

I’ll likely be going new from here on out. It’s not worth the hassle.

Those experiences really do squelch your faith in people. I bought an Apple SS Link Bracelet “like new” and the first I received seemed off. Turned out some bozo had swapped some links from a 44mm Link Bracelet to my 41mm bracelet so links didn’t fit right.

The sigh and disappointment was epic.
