I can’t tell you how happy I am with this purchase. We have to dump this reservoir two or three times a day, everyday, in the summer. It’s just amazing to me there is this much moisture in the air considering the house is generally sealed to the outside except for door openings and general inleakage. The unit fills up until a high level float shuts it off and doesn’t restart until the high level situation is resolved .ie reservoir disposed of. So we have no problem running it when not home or asleep. I’ve even started dumping the reservoir on our outdoor potted plants because it’s probably better quality then what comes from the hose.
