Subheading says 4 cameras, but box specs say 2 cameras… Which is it?
Description clearly says 4 cameras so I’m going with that. Grab a screen shot for evidence in case there is an issue.

Yes if you want to be able to review the cameras/videos. The cameras and base station communicate with proprietary protocol.
Very good system with some small flaws. I have a set of 4 cameras at my cabin that have been running for 6 years through sunshine and snow. And a set of 5 cameras at my main home.
