Literally the only thing in this ‘Army’ survival gear that anyone in the army would actually use is a knife and the foil blanket. But they would probably have a better knife then that.
A compass does you ZERO good if you don’t know where you are or what direction you need to go in.

Do yourself a favor and go buy a Leatherman or Gerber multitool instead of this $20 heap of crap.
A bit overstated. Yeah, it’s on woot and is probably low quality. But, I wouldn’t mind a bit having a flint fire starter, a flashlight, a whistle and, yes, even a compass if I found myself in a survival situation in the back country.
