Bought it the last time it was on sale. At $40 figured if it didn’t work it wasn’t a big investment. Used an iPhone for setup so your mileage may vary with Android. Got it up and running and no problems since the setup. Took about 3 attempts per satellite to get them to pair with the base. Be patient and for $40 you have a decent mesh system
Welp, I purchased these and unfortunately got into a bad car accident. Just got around to setting them up and of course they dont work. Contact Arris technical support and get told they are past the 2yr warranty. Told them I just purchased and get the run around about how I can purchase a new warranty. Come on here to return and past the return window…looked and sure enough it says 2yr warranty. LAME! Sent customer service an email and hopefully they can do something to help me out, this has been a nightmare. I dont know if having an android is the issue here or what but the app will not recognize the routers at all…hours wasted!
Be sure to check with the credit card you used to purchase. Several offer warranty extension programs, some extend an original warranty an additional 1 to 2 years.
I have an iPhone and had a similar issue with the app. I had to turn on allow “local access” permissions on the app for it to work. It was a pain to set up but the price point and upgrade to WIFI 6 made it worth the slight headache.

Thanks! Its been a rough recovery. I can deal with the pain but the traumatic brain injury is so hard to deal with. Feel so dumb at times and cant talk the same. Speech therapy is helping a lot though.
