Bought one of these. It was delivered today. It was in ROUGH shape. I know it’s refurbished, but this thing was used and abused. The case looks like someone let their cat at it. The corner of the case was broken and the front bezel was separated from the case. Even the cord was all beat up. Bent weird, ASUS logo mostly worn off. Seems like someone used this A LOT then returned it.
On top of all this, I’m not sure it works. I plugged it in to a USB 3.1 port (requires 3.0) and it won’t turn on… I’ve only tried the ports on my dock so far, but does not look promising.
ANYWAY, if this is what Woot and ASUS call refurbished, I’d stay far, far away.

Related, this thing is 5 years old according to the service tag on the back. Again, I know its refurbished, but this thing has clearly been through it.
60++ sold last time. I hope that there is only 1 bad apple (though I do know not everybody post about returns and unsatisfactory products). Product is on sale again for the same price, so far 25+ sold.
Most also don’t post when the item is working well and there are no issues.
