Asus PadFone-X Mini 4.5" Smartphone + 7" Tablet

Anyone know if this is the Dual Active SIM version? I can’t find the specs for this model to confirm.

We checked with our vendor but they were unable to confirm. Sorry.

Is this locked into AT&T service and needs an AT&T SIM, or is it unlocked for any data-plan SIM?

I bought two of these. Cracked the tablet on the first one, then I forgot the phone was in my pocket and went into a lake. (insert fun Disc Golf story here)

The second was in use only 3-4 months when the physical switch in the tablet which detects the phone being inserted stopped working. Tablet is dead in the water. Haven’t tried to send it in for repair- guessing it would cost way more than it’s worth.

This is a BRILLIANT idea with a POOR execution.

Even with 32GB microSD inserted, the 8GB of onboard memory isn’t enough- Android version 4.4.2 (latest available) doesn’t allow app install onto the SD. So I can’t install the stuff I want, clash of clans plus a couple more ‘big’ apps and the internal memory is tapped out.

The phone itself is a little slow, little smaller than Wife’s 2015 Moto G.

Tablet is decent- kinda heavy, but charges the phone, works reasonably well, screen isn’t bright enough for summer outdoors use.

Came with a 2amp charger & cord, and I like the earbuds/mic that came with it.

Phone is subpar, but at least you can have it put the pictures on the microSD.

Sound from the tablet is quite loud, and never had issues with reception (AT&T prepaid) on wifi or 4g, in phone or tablet.

Next time though I’ll look for a better phone and just buy a separate tablet. The pricepoint is sweet but I’m disappointed.

It takes only one SIM. Not sure what “Dual Active” means.

I am so disappointed with the phone AT&T and Woot customer service.
I can’t get the unlock code for this stupid phone. AT&T says I need to go to Woot and Woot refuses to help. So I have a $100 paper weight.
This is BS and I am so sorry I ever delt with this company.
I can’t believe Amazon let’s them tarnish their name.
Awful experience to say the least!
