I have one of these and I see a major improvement at the hinge areas - a V strap on the inside rail will stop splits in the wood up the rail. I weigh 230, but when you take into account the load, I must have exceeded the rating. I was able to pull it back together and put some plates on the insides. This a GREAT improvement! Just don’t forget to add the weight of what you haul up to forget where you put it.
