Thanks. I’ll ask someone to take a looksie.

If I plant these will the bloom this year?

Per the features:

 • Please note this garden assortment contains Summer-blooming bulbs. These are best planted in spring after all danger of frost has passed.

Another site has a better deal of 200 bulbs from the same company for $21.24 with free shipping.

Woot always has bad prices on these compared to the competition from the exact same company. I don’t even bother looking at Woot’s plant “deals” anymore because it’s always higher priced.

These aren’t good products or good values and people would be far better served sourcing locally from countless better vendors.

To quote a user who spent a lot of time writing this to help others:

SmilingOne123: " Just FYI for anyone who is interested in supporting bees, butterflies, birds, etc., these are likely not the right plant packages for you.
Most of the plants offered are not native to the U.S. (Liatris spicata is native to parts of the U.S.- but I would question whether you really want/need 40-80 of them.)
While some native bees/pollinators are generalists and can eat from any nectar source, the ones that are most at risk are the ones that need specific, native plants, to eat or for hosting their eggs.

Check out https://homegrownnationalpark.org/ as a good starting point. Also google “native plants [YOUR STATE HERE]” for local organizations that can tell you what plants are needed in your area and where to find them. You can also look up plants at https://www.wildflower.org/plants-main
And if you find other people in your area who geek out on native plants, they will likely have some to share.

Finally, for what it’s worth, I’ve gotten amazing deals (at various times of the year):

It is SO FUN to have a native plant garden- less maintenance and more pollinators. Realize this isn’t for everyone, but wanted to share info for anyone who is doing it for the flora and fauna! (This is what I wish someone explained to me 5+ years ago!)"
