Having recently made the mistake of not checking the specs tab when making a food purchase from Woot, I’m just going to suggest looking at the expiration dates when purchasing these, especially when the minimum quantity is a 12-pack, with each pack containing 5 waffles. One of them has a “best by” date of next month.

I would prefer an option of both types so 6 boxes of each type, but I don’t want 12 of 1 type.
I decided to get 12 of each, I am a glutton for punishment, hubby is gonna yell “What the hell were you thinking” oh well
Bought these from Costco recently. They’re really tasty once in the toaster. And not too big, so good as a snack.
Oy. Good catch. These gourmet deliveries always take longer to deliver. Almost ordered the chocolate ones, potentially leaving me with 60 waffles within 2 weeks of their sell-by date. I like a waffle as much as the next fellow, but not sure I could or want to maintain the necessary pace.
Sam’s has some brand called “Julian’s Recipe” in 18 packs for $10, which is a better deal per waffle.
That said I’m going to bite on this and see if these are better quality, because I love Liege-style waffles and these will make nice gifts for a few friends who feel the same way. I know you really can’t replicate the experience of buying one of these hot off the enormous waffle iron from a street vendor’s van in Brussels but you can at least try.
Anyone know why it is taking so long for these to ship?
