These lanterns put out a lot of light but Woot’s price is not such a bargain. This same item is sold by Harbor Freight for $6.99.
Finally got around to using these. The light is nice and bright, but build quality is terrible.
The light comes on when you pull the lamp up. But there is no way of turning the lamp off without removing the battery. When you press down the lamp into the body, it does not seem to go all the way down and you can see that the light is still on even when it is supposed to be off.
Really disappointing.
