Best ginger ale?
C**k & Bull
Maine Root
Best ginger ale would be no ginger ale
Moved on to Ginger beer.

It’s a suthun thing, Buffalo Rock. Some of the most potent ginger root I’ve ever encountered with a fizz… Publix carries diet (sugar-free) cans in a multipack.
Shasta!
YES! Anyone have additional favorite ginger beers? They are non-alcoholic (at least most have no alcohol).
If possible, prefer without high fructose corn syrup and not overly sweet. Old Tyme was tasty (ginger root flavor) but had a lot of not so great ingredients. Aldi has one sometimes but it is hot tasting but otherwise rather bland. It is very cheap and sells out rapidly - point perhaps is there is an under appreciated and untapped market.
One of the best rated in ingredients and 4.6/5 on Amazon (but I do not personally know how tasty) is this one below. It is $$$ and also rarely found at some “WholePaycheck” stores.
Fever Tree
Props - Have seen that at Walmart and Kroger. About $12 for 4.
Publix in my area carries the “Gold Thread” brand too - sorry, never tried it (pricy, and never see it on sale). Same with the Fever Tree stuff too.
Does GT’s Synergy Gingerade (etc) Kombucha count? Next time I see the kombucha culture available, I’m gonna make a big batch - I have probably 100-150 48fl-oz HEAVY glass jars saved up (because they are aliiive, they build up pressure and need thick glass). I’m happy if people shy away from it (more for me!), it is an awesome probiotic and an acquired taste…
Reed’s Ginger Beer!
Buffalo Rock
Knowing what was in the starter (my dear Mother made some of it), I’d not want to drink it. Reminds me of pond water.
Blenheim’s. Sometimes they sell Blenheim hot at bevmo individually…
I have three cans left of a six-pack of “Zevia Ginger Root Beer” (sugar-free, sweetened with Stevia, which is why I still haven’t finished off the last three cans). Can’t exactly recommend it except maybe as “now for something completely different”.
What does it taste like please? They are a Pepsi bottler. But this product is limited in distribution unfortunately.
lol… to me? It tastes like Heaven. To everyone else I know? It tastes like fire and brimestone.
It has a bite. If you’re not used to spice, you probably won’t like it. My grandmother introduced me to this decades ago and, after drinking this alone for all these years, regular “soda” tastes like water to me. Most people, though cough and spit it right back out! lol ![]()
