I bought this last time, it sorta works! I have a lot of tattoos that I wouldn’t wanna use this on, but elsewhere when I’ve had a bite and caught it early, it does the trick! My only complaint is that it’s SO easy to accidentally turn on if you have it on your keys or a bag.
Is this a self-cauterization device? 
Kinda makes sense that some histamine reactions will be tweaked by applying heat as soon as possible after a itch-trigger happens…

Let me preface by saying that I’m highly reactive to mosquito bites (e.g. swelling and burning beyond the norm), and using this does seem to help lessen those reactions. It is basically a tiny hot plate, so you will get a brief (3 second) burning sensation at the site of use. But in my experience, that feeling stops as soon as the device turns off. As far as a success rate, I’d say probably about 75%, in terms of its use leading to alleviation of the bite reaction.
I bought this itch relief device a few weeks ago, and I will say, it takes the itch away for a while. It is not a healer, so much as it provides relief for a couple of hours. Tough part is you have to know you have been bitten and then use the device soon there after to get the full affect. Still, for this price I would highly recommend.
