Bio Bidet

What is the color of this bidet?

We have double-confirmed with the vendor, these are indeed just white.

This is a GREAT set of features for the price. very well constructed, sturdy and does the job well.
you need to make sure you have 19.5" from the tank to the front of the rim on your round toilet. The front rim of my toilet is visible inside the opening of the seat, I’ve been informed by biobidet that bowl dimensions are not as standardized on round as they are on elongated toilets(a review of pdf’s on home depot’s website confirms this, this dimension (tank to rim) varies widely).
The unit is noisier than my other bidet from brondell, but it does seem to have all the features of a much more expensive bidet seat, plus it has memory functions.
customer service response from Bio Bidet has been excellent, and they offer the best warranty in the business, five years.

Is this rechargeable or does it need to remain plugged in all the time?

It requires an outlet near the toilet.

Thanks!
Seems like a little thing but thats a deal breaker for me, at least for now. Maybe I’ll hide a second GFI behind/under the tank and then go from there

Is the seat (the part you actually sit on) replaceable?

Or if you want to replace it must you replace the whole unit?

Also, what side does the cord come out of?

I ordered this yesterday from Woot and I’m very excited to try it. Then I started looking at the reviews for this model, the only bad review was from someone that ordered it from Woot claiming he had problems with it not working properly. I’m a little worried now that this is not going to be NEW but rather some factory seconds kinda unit. I really don’t want to deal with returns/repairs and all that BS.
I’ll update when it arrives and is installed.

Here’s some answers from our vendor:

Is the seat (the part you actually sit on) replaceable? Yes it is possible to replace only the seat without replacing the entire bidet.

Also, what side does the cord come out of? The cord comes from the right side as you’re facing the bidet.

This is really a great package from one of the more respected manufacturers in this industry…has a great set of features.

I have been trolling for a couple months to get a replacement for my current unit…am more interested in their next higher model…the BB-2000 since it has a nightlight as well. (But it is also more expensive.)

Love, love love this bidet. Took me 10 mins to install, great quality and features and self closing lid so no worries about anyone slamming the electronics. Very easy to clean and no crevices too small to reach during regular bathrom cleaning tasks. The only thing I don’t like is that the toilet seat itself has a seam along the outside of the seat rim and possible cleaning issues with entrapment of scum that might build up. Yes, I’m just one of those clean freak nurses. This bidet is packed with features and is a great deal. When it arrived, my husband is like, “WTF” ??? Well, needless to say, he no longer uses an entire roll of paper every other day and he took back the “WTF.” I figure I’ve already paid for my bidet on TP savings. Would buy another for the kids bathroom but somehow, I see them finding a way to use the bidet as some type of water cannon or bathroom water games on each other. Suffice it to say… great deal, quality build and not sorry I spent the money. WOOT!

Rest easy, My bidet works perfectly, the remote was no trouble at all. Regardless, I sent an email to the company about the dimensions and received an email back from them within a few hours answering my question and offering remedies. They are very responsive, and offer an excellent warranty.
I’ve had my bio bidet for a month, performs well. My Brondell I’ve had for a year, cost much more, very similar features. I will never be without a Bidet seat again! YOU, like me, will dread using a restroom away from home.

I agree on the TP…each roll of TP requires 37 gallons of water to make! lots of electricity etc.

We are the most tech crazy country in the world, but we still use 1800’s toilet tech.
I’m confused, amazed, befuddled by our cultural resistance to what is by every measure a cleaner, enviro friendly, high tech and comfortable alternative to wiping cr@p off your @ss with your hands wrapped in tissue.

This made me chuckle.

Thats good to hear since I used the money I saved ordering this thru Woot and wired the room for it. Now I’ll go wait by the mail box for it to arrive!

I have used my bidet for over a year now, and it has worked nicely - love the warm seat during cold weather! One problem I have experienced in the last few months is that when I first sit on the seat, it starts making a loud whirring noise for about 10 seconds, then stops. After that, I only hear the fan running. Not sure what is going on, but it sounds like a problem with the fan starting up. I wonder if the fan is about to stop working.
