I got 504’d also. Never saw the VOP, on the app or on a PC. The app just circled, and the PC got past the buy screen and 504’d. I got a error box once.

If surges are known to cause crashes, and Woot knows their servers can’t handle the surges, maybe it’s time to do something different?
Not there. Got many gears turning when I hit place my order multiple times but would never go through.

Just to make y’all feel better, I got kicked out of the payment screens on both iphone & android and when I tried Firefox it just said NOPE.

Are you suggesting they get rid of the spikes? (ie, BOCs)
But then what would we have to gripe about? 
Trying to accommodate selecting varying seats at different price levels, in multiple venues for something where the on sale times are known way in advance is exponentially more difficult than trying to sell ONE thing to that pops up at an unknown time. It’s a problem that could be solved with some honest effort.

Was there 3 times, when BoC was at 100% I went there straight and got the same 504 error.
it is absolutely part of the BOC experience. Everything else runs smoothly on their site. Why would they try to massively overhaul, over bags of hodgepodge leftovers? I just assume that my chances are slim going in, and then everytime i get a BOC i am overjoyed. I found this a delightful diversion in an otherwise shitty workday.
