This is a crazy good price. Why? Is it because it’s an older model? And this time of year they’re usually full price. It makes me wonder what’s wrong with it. Woot, these days, doesn’t sell products unless there’s a problem with them. Any ideas?

Can propane be used with this or only gas?
It comes set up for propane but you can buy the natural gas conversion kit for it from your lowecal hardware store

I bought this at the same price in February. I also picked up the 5856 hood from Amazon but looks like it may be sold out now but there are other options. This is an Amazon version. I received the griddle in good condition and packed well.
It says the fuel type is GAS. Can gas be converted to PROPANE?

I downloaded the manual from the Blackstone website and it says “connect the LPG cylinder”. Then a quick Google search confirmed LPG stands for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or PROPANE autogas. So, I bought 1.

Bought one of these for the same price when it was offered back in February. Been wanting one for years but never wanted to drop the $300-$400 these tend to go for.

Highly recommend you snag this if you have ever wanted one. Doubt you will ever see one cheaper. I’ve seen used ones on FB marketplace selling for more than this new one.

Thanks for the clarifying info. I’ve always wanted one if these but couldn’t justify the purchase at +$300. This looks to be a crazy good deal so I’m in for one at this price for sure 
I purchased this last go-around. While I don’t have any regrets, I’ll just note that the savings aren’t as large as they might initially appear if you want a hard cover (you’ll need a cover). Wally-World sells the newer model for $297, which includes the hard cover. The Blackstone cover runs $55 on Amazon. I’ll point out that after buying the hard cover I later bought bought a silicone cover and the canvas tarp to cover the entire griddle. In hindsight, with those two I probably should have passed on the hard cover.

Yeah, it is a very heavy package. I had to remove the various parts from the package and carry them individually to where I wanted to assemble this griddle.
Also, don’t forget to season the cooking surface as it does not come pre-seasoned.
