Does this really include the Sync Module?

Yep, sure does.

For those of you that have actually ordered and received this 2-camera kit - Do they arrive in a regular retail Blink box or a plain brown box as described in the ad? I’ve bought refurbished Blink XT2 add-on cameras in the past and they arrived in retail boxes.

They are delivered exactly as you would expect if you bought it from Amazon directly. It’s even delivered by Amazon so you enjoy the same speed you always get with them. I have two systems now, 4 cameras and 2 sync modules. If you ever considered a camera system for your home, this is a great and inexpensive way to start. You can combine generations of cameras as well. I have 3 2nd generation cameras and 1 4th generation camera and they work fine on the same sync module, so I actually have an extra sync module in reserve.

Mine came in generic brown cardboard boxes. The were pretty much indistinguishable from new. Of course, all the chargers, wires, mounts were totally new.

As others have reported, the external packing is plain. The important part is that the multiple times I have purchased this woot in the past, the internal packaging has been perfect: All parts and paperwork are there, they are bagged and wrapped and tied up and all that and they come in the pretty pre-formed/folded tray, all wrapped in plastic and all that. Looks storeroom-new.

What’s new about this woot is the option to save money by buying the cameras alone, without paying $10 for the sync module, which you might not need if, um, you don’t need it. (Note that you might want another sync module even if you haven’t maxxed out the number of cameras on the module(s) you already have – which is 10 per module – if you want to apply different notification settings or other module-level settings on some ca,eras but not others. You know: If you need to create administrative subgroups.)

These are fun work well happy i purchased in past. Deciding if i am in for two more. I use mostly to capture the critters in the yard which i find fun. Currently have a fox deer and so many bunnies the battery should be dead. Batteries last amazingly.

For the 2 camera set, why is Amazon Refurbished (5) .09¢ cheaper? Is that the reward for scrolling all the way to the bottom of the list?

Typo. Thanks for the callout though. We’ll set it to $49.99 like the others. :stuck_out_tongue:

Question about using the app without a Blink plan, will I still get motion alerts and can I still view videos and live streams?

How much is it? Can’t figure out if it’s $49.99 or $19.99? Am I missing something? I added to my cart (3 quantity) and it’s $150. Thought it would be closer to $60 based on the email from slickdeals.

Please help

The add on module is $20, whereas the full kit is $50.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Same question… really just looking for live remote view for nature? Anyone?

And can it be done with a different app than the blink one, say HDCam or Open cam?

Hi there. this might help. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for a chart of features.

What is the difference between the refurb numbers?

Enough to convince me they are suitable for my purpose. In for 3. Thanks!

Can a sync module that I am currently using, be used to add two additional camera?
Would like to have all cameras on same system. Thanks!

Asked the AI bot on Amazon and it replied:

The ONLY things in the box i received were 2 cameras. No module. No power cords. No brackets. I want to return the order. How?
