are these safe? can old owners “spy” on the new user?
No, the cameras can only be used with one account at a time. I actually ran into that issue once when buying used Blink cameras from Woot. I kept getting an error in the app that the camera was already registered to another account. I reached out to Blink and they were able to fix it, presumably by removing the camera from whatever account it was still registered with.
Every time I buy them and I have bought them a few times they come in brand new in the box, never had an issue with any of them
I don’t have any Blink cameras and would like to start as a new customer. Can I use the these refurb ones to link to a new profile?

At the very bottom where it has “what’s in the box”
It states there is a sync module that comes with the purchase. In the pictures I only see the two cameras and no module.
Could this be a mistake for description or does it really come with the module? I’ve been wanting one for a long time because I feel that my cloud videos have been getting picked through and certain ones being deleted on purpose so I need something that stores locally
If i purchase the one that says add on only for existing customers, will i still be able to set it up to use only local storage?
No. The XT2 and older cameras don’t support local storage.
Thankfully, they are grandfathered into 7200 seconds (2 hours) of free online storage per sync module.
I notice Woot! has since started offering refurbs of the current cameras, so I hope this doesn’t mean they’ve exhausted the supply of XT2’s. I was hoping to pick up 2 more to max out what a single sync module can support.
Will these be coming back anymore i haven’t seen an add in a while?
Hi there. It’s an older model so we’re not getting those in much now. We do have an indoor/outdoor one for sale tomorrow that may work though.
