Does anyone know which Sync module is included in this? The description does not say is it the first generation or Sync Module 2
2nd Generation. It is listed in the Specifications detailed section.
You think so? I see where you are referring but not sure if that is the cameras or both. If it was that would mean it could take a thumb drive and not require cloud storage.
Itβs not clear if it includes Sync Module 2. Can someone clarify this?
You can see the components in spec category. It says
In the Box:
- (1) Blink XT2 camera (dependent on quantity selected)
- (1) sync module
- (2) AA 1.5V lithium batteries (2 per camera)
- (1) mounting kit (per camera)
- (1) user guide
- (1) USB cable
- (1) power adapter
Does this have a 30 day return policy?
Can it be added to existing blink XT2 system? I already have cloud storage since my original XT2 were bought before April 2020.
The camera is the 2nd gen 2019 model - it will use the first generation sync module
Yes
The camera is the 2nd gen 2019 model - it will use the first generation sync module
Considering the sync 2 module came out in 2020 I would venture to guess it comes with a gen 1 version.
I have 3 of these, and want to add 2 more. They have been really good for my use.
Yes, they do.
I think you are right - too bad would be a real good deal if it was second generation sync module
Has anyone used these on a network that has a Proxy that you need to sign into to get access to the Internet?
Description says condition is used-very good
I really dislike these. I own the original and the XT2s bought at release. They literally eat batteries, and I only use the recommended LiON ones. They are slow to respond, the talk back feature takes so long to engage the person is usually gone before it connects. Try to connect live and all someone needs to do is keep moving and the live view will never engage because it is recording. I will sell any of you my 4 units in a minute. I am replacing with real cameras.
Yes it does. The features then say:
These units have been tested and verified internally by Amazon to meet the specified product condition, but may have cosmetic blemishes. The units may be repackaged and sold in a brown box.
The customer service is great. I also bought my xt when they first came out. My original blink xt ate batteries and they replaced them for free. The replacements I got have not had any problem with the battery eating problem. I have them in heavy traffic areas and have to replace batteries about once a year. If they eat batteries they are defective.
