Bluetooth Smart Watch for Android

I dig that the dude in the pic isn’t wearing the watch.

The cheap price matches the cheap quality. This watch wont be confused with an Apple watch. The instructions are near useless.

I had a couple of these before I graduated to my Samsung S3 Frontier. These work. The do the basics, answer the phone, show messages and tell time. Well worth the price if you are 'trying" out the smart watch world. I used BT Notification as a previous wooter said. Worked great.

11 bucks, free shipping:

I have this piece of junk, it is total crap. I got it for free from a non-tech friend who got it as a door prize at a casino. The battery lasts about 12 hours the first couple times, down hill from there. The back of the case cracked (its plastic, the whole watch is) and falls off. Every time the battery dies, it loses all its settings, including the time. It is also much thicker than the picture makes it look. The camera is also crappy, not to mention the crappy tinny speaker.

Don’t buy I did some research and it looks like it spys on your personal data.

This watch seems impossible to set up! Is there an easy way or a YouTube video to watch?

This is a piece of junk, wish I had my money back!!! Do not buy it! The directions for setting it up can not be read they are so small. Just wish I had left it on Woot!!! It is a horrible piece of nothing.

I’m sorry that you’re unhappy. Please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.

Just got one. I can say there’s no water resistance. Vents on the plastic backing would let water into the inside from washing your hands.

Got mine yesterday - fast shipping from woot.

It was fairly easy to set up (instructions are tiny and make little sense), but just flipping through the screens it is obvious what is going on. The app, Fun Run, is actually not bad, but I never could get it to synch to the watch.

After setting it up I discovered only few of the functions work. No additional watch faces and it is hard for me to read the time on the only one available. The camera is a bad joke. The loud sedentary alarm jolts you off your butt, so that kinda works.

In all it was fun to fool around with for about half an hour, but is now relegated to the drawer of things that no longer work or I’ve lost interest in. Periodically, I empty the drawer and give the stuff in it to the grandkids to mess around with.

I finally got the chance to setup this watch last night.
I tried to use the sleep monitoring function. It ended up waking me when the battery died after only 8 hours of being unplugged.
If you try the QR code it tries to download a side install app. My phone warned me that it could damage the phone, so I stopped.
I was envisioning having the pedometer count on the apps on my phone. I can’t even get it to synch and receive notifications from my phone! If I wanted a stand alone watch I would just buy a Timex.
How do I get my money back??? Do NOT buy this thing!

I would say no, there are slots on the back for the speaker. Keep your money.

That was the craziest ‘form’ I have ever seen. It was just a strange method to ultimately send an email, and even then I wasn’t sure that is what I should be doing. I went back to the FAQ and support pages again with the first ‘monkey’s response’.
It is very likely that I may never try Woot again after this charade.

Don’t bother.

I’m very sorry to hear about your experience. If you would rather send a direct email, you can send an email to Support@woot.com and we’ll be happy to help. Just make sure you include your order number so we can locate your order information quickly.

The watch requires the app to be installed for all but the most basic functions. As to whether the app is safe…

So far it won’t pair with my phone, and every option says install SIM card. Which, if you pull the battery, it does have a spot for a Sim card. I might try it out with my house cell phone sim and see how it goes. The software concerns of backdoors are highly curious, I’ll eat the cost and do some debugging and maybe try uploading my own Android compile. I won’t trust it otherwise but it’ll be a fun toy.

Purchased as TRACPhone Sim kit and a plan and the watch works as a stand alone phone on the t-mobile network.

The watch I received was absolutely dead on arrival. No signs of life. Plugging in a charger does absolutely nothing. I’m too busy to deal with all the falderal of sending it back, so I’ll just eat the 13 bucks and stop buying lousy stuff here. Not the first time I received something that didn’t work as advertised.
