100% immediately copped 3
Lowest price I have ever seen on this personally - especially since it has recently been listed at an extremely marked up price for the last while.
Would it be dumb to buy this if I already have one? The price is ridiculously low.
If you want this kettle, I’m sure it’s a steal.
Wow. This is a great price for great kettle, I have had a few already since I do roast development for a coffee company. Bought 3 more, best I have previously seen was I think around $55.
Bah…that’s what I get for waiting before buying.
Just received it. The base of the kettle was cracked, and there was a rattle inside as well. It was a hot mess.
Oh that stinks. Customer Service will have some options for you. Let them know if you’d prefer a replacement or a refund and that saves some time.

Wow. That was fast. I figured since they were new, they’d be fulfilled by the mothership and arrive quickly but mine has been preparing to ship since the day I ordered it. I know it says estimated delivery January 11th but that is often similar to the pointless price in that it is not always accurate.
I got mine today (in spite of Woot telling me as late as this morning that it would be delivered on January 11). The box was pretty much destroyed, but the kettle and base look and work fine.
Ha. Mine showed up today as well in a destroyed box. I was very worried it would be dented or broken as you could hear stuff rattling when you tilted the box. But it looks fine. I made a test cuppa tea and the pot worked just fine.
Box also destroyed here and shipping in a plastic bag. Kettle itself is dinged up pretty good. A little disappointed by that.
Has this happened to anyone else’s kettle? I noticed it about the 3rd or 4th time using it. I pre-washed with warm water and mild dish soap. I didn’t leave unused water in the kettle.
I’ve tried washing this off, it will not come off. Nothing comes off when I wipe it with a paper towel…
I’ve seen this with my Dash egg cooker. It’s the chemicals in the tap water I think.
Posted 6 minutes ago and sold out, huh? Dammed fast
Uhm this is a sale from back in December. Someone was just asking a question so the thread bumped up.
Thank you. That’s not good. Need to get a filter that attaches to the faucet.
Have you had any luck cleaning it off?
My way may not be the best since the surface/water in the egg cooker doesn’t touch anything I eat/drink.
Google how to descale a kettle. Quite a few tips out there.
