My boyfriend got one from Kickstarter and loved his original Boombot REX. He paid almost three times the amount for the plain black REX. I was easily in for three (yay gifts!) after loving his for 2+ years.
The sound on the REX is great and the battery life is incredible.
Why does one have the Hieroglyphics logo on it? That’s kinda strange, but also good.
ETA: Maybe I should have read the specs and looked at the giant picture of Del before I asked that. Duh.
I’ve had one since the original on kickstarted. Paid a lot more than this. This is the 2nd Gen, much better sound and battery life than the original (received a 2nd gen on a warranty claim for my first one after I punctured the grill and speaker on a gnarly fall). These things are awesome and can be daisy-chained together… I’m in for two… great deal for 2nd gen.
