Main concerns from the negative reviews previous woot and above: durability, quality shave, cartridges (but it is $20 less than last sale).

I’ve been looking for a deal on a good razor. In 4 1!

I have been using this shaver for 2 years now. I got it at a fund raiser (not woot). Good shaver. What I like about it is, if the battery is dead, plug it in for full power (many only charge the battery, so you have to wait). Also you don’t need the cleaner stand thing (I’ve only done it once). Just works and gives a good shave.

Is there any warranty? On Amazon a new one has a 2 year warranty for $30 more.

Indeed. We list the warranty at the bottom of the features. For this it states:

Warranty: 2 Years Braun

Why pay $30 more?

if you thoroughly clean the insides before you use the cleaner stand, you will be able to use the cartridge for a longer time.

Not so much. The solution is alcohol-based and evaporates even though there is some effort to seal it in. But it still lasts a decent while, I’ve just noticed that you can’t extend it all that much.

Don’t get me wrong - this is my third Braun razor and I loved them all. I currently have a Series 5, and they are better razors than the Series 3, but the 3s are very good and this is a great deal on one!

Sorry you haven’t received tracking. Have you tried using your order number to ‘Track by Reference’ on FedEx or UPS’ websites?

This unit didn’t even survive two years before it crapped out on me for no logical reason. I take care of all my things and only shave, on average, twice per week; yikes!

Plus, due to the malfunction, I am now out TWO cartridge refills, which are rather costly!
