Totally agree re: winery participation today. It has been great. I even flipped this offer to a friend who had never wooted before, and he went in for an order. So the participation makes a big difference.

rjquillin and schaeferr, thank you for your kind words re: Chris and my participation today…it’s been a fun diversion for our normal winemaking work! We would be happy to answer any other questions you all may have this afternoon / evening. Derek
Okay fellow Wooters and of course Bravium with the wonderful piping in, you’ve all twisted my arm. Woot is as good a place as it gets to buy my first bottle (or 6) of Rosé ever! You’re not livin’ life if you you don’t take chances am I right?
I appreciate your spirit of adventure and think you will really enjoy the three distinct roses on offer today.
From different appellations / vineyards, each one of these roses is distinct and, as Chris mentioned in an earlier post, show good examples of Old World, Provencal-style rose as well as New World, California-style rose.
And re: food pairing, just like Pinot Noir is one of the most versatile food-pairing wines, the same can be said for Rose of Pinot Noir.

Or as we say up here on the norther plains, how much ground could a groundhog grind if a groundhog could grind ground?
Wine Country Connect (WineDavid) helps most wineries ship their wine.woot wines. WCC knows how to ship wine. They’re experts in the logistics to keep the wine moving.
Well, I did try to prime the discussion with this…
*Closures; great topic we’ve discussed here before but always like to elicit producers comments on why they choose one over the other. *
It’s a frequent topic.
How/why do you choose between them?
What OTR are you looking for in the twist-off?
Hi LoungeLizard, you are correct…we don’t have a MD shipping permit - as they are very pricey! - but your interest has definitely been noted. We will continue to work to add as many states as we can and please do anything you can think of to prevail upon the great state of Maryland to be nice to small wineries like us. Thanks!
TT,
can you check your PM? I would love to order this but it’s forcing me to use expedited shipping which is $20 extra and I don’t want to pay for that. There is no standard shipping option!
Is this because I live in Atlanta???
EDIT: YES! I changed my ship-to to a California address and standard shipping became available.
So my next question - why is standard shipping not available to Atlanta? In the past I always ordered in the hot summer months and the refrigerated trucks got my wine here with no issues…???

Standard shipping is available but it’s not included in the price so you don’t “pick” it. If you want to upgrade, you can pick expedited.
please try putting in a ship to address in Atlanta and tell me what options you have for shipping…
EDIT: I want to apologize to everyone and especially the winery for my back and forth, but I really want to buy this wine and can’t with standard shipping and I don’t want to pay $20 for shipping…
