this toaster is too cool. we’ve had one for a few years. its way too much to spend on a toaster but its really cool.

For those worried about the motors going bad, I’ve had the two slice version for nearly 8 years and it still works great. Would definitely pick up this one if I needed a new toaster.

I’ve wanted this toaster for a long time but reading the reviews makes me leery. There are many defects out there that claim the same issues. I have other expensive Breville products that I love but $100 is a lot to spend on a toaster. Especially one that has so many die shortly after purchase.

Anyone actually own this?

My mom bought one off Amazon a few years ago based on positive reviews. It broke (no response after pressing toast) after 30 days and was replaced. Since then no problems.

It’s definitely cool, but you can go through a lot of “manual” toasters for $100.

I’ve been on a bit of a spree buying things for a new home, but DAYUM $99 for a toaster? lol

I really did almost click on the buy button tho. Best of luck to those buying it, theoretically, the refurbing has fixed any problems.

I have the regular one, not the long slot one and absolutely love it. We did have to replace it once, but it was a few years back and the replacement has been working flawlessly

I’m in for one. I had one like this (same brand but not “wide”) but lost it in my divorce last year. Best toaster I’ve ever had so I’m for sure replacing it now at this price. Yeah, $99 sounds a lot but these work way better than your average $30 toaster. This will help me reassemble my life.

Ok, I did it. I bought one. I purchased the Breville Blender from Woot and the Breville Espresso machine from Woot. Neither have let me down, so here goes…
