It’s kind of pricey and refurbed, but it does look pretty badass and powerful. Isn’t that what really matters?

I believe this is the same model that my aunt has, and it’s a beast! When you turn it on it dims the lights in her apartment. So either an awesome blender, crappy electrical, or both.

5 stars on Buzzillions…

Respiffed and sent slowpost… What more could someone ask for?

$80 blender… are you serious?? maybe woot doesn’t understand what a recession is.

well instead of blending your iphone you could just blend your paycheck =p

ooh i want to see the video. lol

If you guys think this is an expensive blender, you should see how much Blendtecs sell for.

but the question is, Will It Blend?

edit: damnit, i was supposed to be WITTY and ORIGINAL.
guess woot predicted a slew of smartasses like me tonight

“Will-it-blend?”

Check U-tube under “will-it-blend?” to see iPods, iPhones, and other bizarre objects being blended into iPowder. “Don’t breathe this!”

Funny Woot! “New meme wanted.” = “Will-it-blend”

I never could get the BlendTec guy to try this at Costco. We even gave him an old ipod, but he still wouldn’t do it. I guess they really won’t blend.

I actually have the same blender, just without the LCD… it’s amazing. I first saw it on Top Chef, and when I finally got one (for about $150, used) I couldn’t believe the difference between it and my old cheapo blender. IMO, it’s an AWESOME deal.

don’t try this at home

yes, that’s an ipod

wtf?? did they take the discuss the product off the main page. So you have to go the blog section, why would they do such a terrible thing.
[/quote]

no.

Great price here, and overall great reviews, but the ones that have problems seem to report the same one: The blender tends to leak. The seals go bad quickly, and the bottom is very hard to screw on to make it watertight. About 10% seem to have reported this problem.

This isn’t from personal experience (I don’t own it)–just an attempt to summarize what I’ve read on it so far.

Being respiffed you can pretty much be assured that percentage will go up. Not to mention the damage from SLOWPOST.
