Specs are for the smaller 1150 running watts generator. The weight and dimensions shown are not correct for this 1700 running watts model. This model weighs 79lbs and measures 20.6 x 15.3 x 17.3
Bought a Powermate Generator from Woot last July that arrived all busted up, some parts could have been fixed/replaced but the rear motor case where the motor mount is was broke. Looked like it was aluminum or some cheap cast iron, not sure it could have been welded.
There were a lot of broken ones received by buyers and Woot gave refunds and didn’t want them back. Really surprised to see them list another generator after that mess.
Hope these arrive in better condition than the others.
Woot still hasn’t corrected their specifications for this generator and it has been 8 hours since the mistake was pointed out. That says a lot about their concern for consumers.
Orrrrr shows that Woot is based in the US and are allowed to sleep in the nighttime? No need to be snarky… these were the specs the vendor gave us but we are reaching out to them directly to confirm. Apparently they also sleep at night!
