I bought a similar one a few months into the pandemic, when I was WFH and had 2 separate incidents of birds crashing into my living room windows. I have windows the length of the living room and with the blinds open, I can see how birds would see the reflections of trees and the sky and fly into them. Poor little guys would lie there, stunned, and eventually fly off.
I still WFH and there haven’t been any more incidents, but I don’t know if it’s because of the owl or because I keep the blinds slanted.
I try to remember to reposition the owl, in case any really smart birds are suspicious lol.

It works on cats. Scooter made me put it outside. I think it’s the only thing under my carport not covered in bird crap.
Good to know! Price is right! I bought a solar one this year that rotates the head every once in a while and it’s good sized. Because there is a crow lady that has taken it upon herself to make the crows welcome in our neighborhood. Goes on walks and tosses raw peanuts for them, why I don’t know but I’ve read some people think it’s a spiritual thing brings luck blaw blaw blaw. They are a nuisance nothing more nothing less. (crow lady and the like included)
Squirrels are pretty smart they will test it and determine it fake/dumb and go about their business. Moving it frequently helps deter that broadly.
Do not underestimate my hatred of the squirrels. I will add motion and motion sensing response to it. I’ll add laser eyes and a fire breathing beak upon identification of a squirrel: I’ll add twin howitzer cannons to each of its wings to target and annihilate the squirrels. My apple tree WILL be protected at all costs!

I kind of want the pizza owl been looking at it for 2 sales now kind of hoping to will be a dollar deal by @davejlives over on TTHH or maybe it could just be a FL dollar deal if it was just a couple of dollars less I could talk my sis into buying it for me. She has the prime account so no shipping but as it stands right now I can’t pay $15.99 for something that is not useful. I can waste as much money I want but right now what comes out of the household budget literally comes out our mouths so no cute pizza owl for me
