Where is the cord?
I’m fairly sure these types of devices have been proven ineffective without some sort of CO2 generator; mosquitos are attracted to CO2. Without that element you’re just as likely to get more moths and other bugs that are attracted to lights.

In my anecdotal experience, taken that with a grain of salt and your mileage may vary, these things work quite well alone. I had one in my back yard and during dusk hours the zaps were ridiculous (yes, mosquitoes.) I put a smaller one on my back porch to help keep the little buzzards off the kitties.
As well, the two-in-one zapper bulbs are oft maligned in these forums… but I can tell you they do work as I have to clean mosquito carcasses out frequently. Along with gnats… hate them things, too.
