For what it’s worth: I’ve had this model for about 3 years. It produces high quality prints. What’s super annoying about these is that, if you use third party cartridges that are semi affordable, the printer will put up a nag screen at boot and disallow any printing until cleared on the touchscreen. Thankfully, the third party toner chips have improved to the point where it no longer detects non-Canon cartridges. It has some quirks: It will occasionally get stuck in auto-correcting mode. The way to fix it is to use the copier once. It will sometimes relentlessly ask for paper from the non-standard tray, even though you’ve explicitly configured it not to use that paer source. Other than these caveats, it’s a great printer, really.
